The vehicle is located in Largo, FL. About 4-5 years ago the motor lost compression and the shop just wanted to swap a new motor in. So it sat, and sat, and sat. Im unable to confirm mileage without putting in a new battery, but the last time it was driven the odometer was around 120k. The battery is obviously dead, the body has damaged panels, the tires do seem to hold air, but due to the age they should be replaced. Given that it has sat for over 4 years, and was not prepped for long term storage, the fuel system probably needs to be gone through as well. This is NOT a running, driving, car. At a minimum it will need a new motor (or a rebuild on the existing one), new tires, fuel system cleaning, and a new battery just to fire it up. You will need to bring a trailer and tow this car away. In it's current state, it's most likely just a parts car, or you can turn it in to a track car. I have the title in hand. $500 deposit is due immediately upon winning. The remaining balance can be paid in cash, in person when we sign over the title. You can arrange shipping if you'd like, but local pickup is preferred.

Selling a 2005 Volkswagen GTI with 1.8L turbo motor and 5 speed manual transmission. Car runs and drives, motor seems strong, but clutch is a little weak and has CEL, ABS, and Brake lights on in the dash. Failed virginia state inspection for an exhaust leak on the manifold. Turbo spools up as it should and motor sounds good. Would make a great project car. Vehicle body is in decent shape minus a rust spot on the driver side fender toward the bottom. Driver door also slightly pushes against that same fender. Selling as-is, no warranty. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup, or delivery.
